Let Us Know About Your Septic System Requirements

How Does a Septic System Work?

With the right combination of bioactive decomposition and advanced technology, a septic system performs the remarkable task of transforming wastewater material into clean water that can return to groundwater or an aquifer. Pipes connect the house’s plumbing to the tank which acts as a natural separator for organic and inorganic materials. The watery effluent leaves the tank through a filter and enters the drainage field. Perforated pipes allow this effluent to slowly enter the soil body where beneficial bacteria can decompose waste materials for proper assimilation with the groundwater. Over time, the septic tank’s waste material builds up and needs to be pumped out to avoid the risk of overwhelming the tank and entering the leach field.

More About Our Septic Services

SEPTIC INSPECTIONS

Septic systems require routine inspections to monitor the integrity of the system. When you call us for an inspection, we’ll inform you if your tank is the appropriate size for your household’s water usage. We’ll also be sure to monitor your drainage field and advise you to be cautious about any impending factors that might damage your system. we will use a camera and provide a written report of the tank and bed. Once the septic tank is measured for the amount of sludge to effluent, we’ll inform you of the appropriate length of time until your next maintenance is required.

SEPTIC REPAIR

The septic tank is at risk for a number of common issues. Over time, the structure of the tank can lose its integrity and rust or crack. The perforated pipes.... in the leach field are at risk of being compromised due to the overgrowth of plant root systems or from an accidental digging into one of the pipelines. Some of the common signs that your septic system needs repair are: bubbling up wastewater in your drains or toilets, standing water near your septic tank, flooding of the leach field, foul odors near your septic tank, or slow draining water in your sink or bathroom. If any one of these warning signs is noticed, your system is in need of immediate attention and repair.

SEPTIC DESIGN

We can provide a complete septic design of the system that best suits your lot and building needs. Our septic designs are completed by a P Eng that will take in consideration the soil after testing for the percolation times as well as the building location and landscaping needs. We can discuss together the types of systems between a conventional and tertiary system that you might be interested in before this process begins. We are also set up to complete and submit all necessary permits and applications required.

SEPTIC PUMP OUT

A septic tank is a complex combination of biological decomposition processes paired with advanced technology. The result is a highly efficient system for wastewater removal. Each septic tank requires routine pumping to prevent sludge and scum from building up inside the tank, clogging the filter, and preventing effluent from reaching the drainage field. The consequences of neglect or improper care are the contamination of your soil, groundwater, home, and health. This should be done every 3 to 5 years.

SEPTIC INSTALLATION

We are fully licensed by the Ministry Of Housing to install residential and commercial septic systems that include conventional and tertiary systems. Any system that we design or are asked to install we keep a keen eye for finish grading and matching of the existing or future landscaping As there are many different beds and treatment units available we would be there to assist in all maintenance and usage after completion.

MAINTENANCE

Every system should have an effluent filter on the outgoing pipe in your septic tank that keeps solids from entering the septic field. Depending on use it should be removed and washed out once a year. Also for access the tank lids should be plastic removable lids that are flush with the grass or landscaping for easy access for yearly maintenance and pumping.
