Hydro seeding is a fine balance between hand seeding and sod. 

It’s a fast and effective method that’s 50% cheaper than sod and great for erosion issues.

It’s the process of mixing a specialty calculated slurry that combines seed, fertilizer and mulch that mixes with water and is sprayed over the needed area

-hydro seeding provides a uniform lush green look when grown that doesn’t show like the hand thrown seed that can have patchy spots or the visible lines like sod.

-if needed we can do a soil test to make sure the PH is between 6.5 to 7 for the perfect growing soils. Lime, organics and sulfur is used to correct the different levels

-before hydro seeding the soils should be cultivated and leveled to make sure the roots have a chance to penetrate the soils.

-for maintenance after spraying the area should be kept moist and water lightly 2 to 3 times daily for the first week. Also care should be taken to keep any foot or vehicle traffic off for 6 to 7 weeks.

You can see sprouts within the first 7 to 10 days with premium growing conditions and cutting the grass in 4 to 6 weeks.
